Why Naturally Derived

Naturally derived. Here's why.

Most shower gels use the same harsh detergents as washing-up liquid. Used daily, they strip skin and upset its natural pH — the balance that keeps odour in check. Scental is built the opposite way: gentle on sensitive skin, tough on the root cause of odour.

“Naturally derived” means every cleanser and active in the bottle starts from plants — coconut, aloe vera, witch hazel — instead of petrochemical detergents. Sensitive skin doesn't need stripping; it needs its balance protected. That's the entire philosophy of Scental.

Our Story

It started in the changing room.

Two athletes — a footballer and a swimmer — dealing with the thing nobody talks about: that embarrassing odour that came back no matter how hard we scrubbed. So we made Gentleman's Wash to fix our own problem. It stops odour at the root, replaces it with a fresh, masculine scent, and leaves skin nourished — respecting its pH and sensitivity.

Yes — that's exactly what it's made for. Scental is a gentle, pH-balanced wash built for the most sensitive skin, with no harsh sulphates or alcohol. As with any new product, patch test first and avoid broken skin.

It shouldn't. We deliberately left out the harsh detergents and alcohol that usually cause that, and built the formula around aloe, witch hazel and coconut-derived cleansers. If any irritation does occur, stop using it.

Daily, in the shower, like any body wash. A little goes a long way — one or two pumps is plenty.
